Services Set For Ashley Pitts, 37, Camden Woman Killed In AC Expressway Crash

Funeral services for Ashley Pitts, who died in a car crash on June 16, are on Friday, June 28, according to Boyd Funeral Services.

Calling hours are from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Baptist Temple Church, 1029 South Fourth St. in Camden.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., also at the Baptist church.

Troopers responded to the crash on Saturday, June 15 at about 10:30 p.m. on the Atlantic City Expressway west in Winslow Township, New Jersey State Police said.

Pitts was heading west on the Atlantic City Expressway in a Nissan SUV when the vehicle sideswiped a disabled Honda parked on the right shoulder Saturday, June 15 around 10:30 p.m. in West Windsor, New Jersey State Police tell Daily Voice.

The Nissan then overturned, and Pitts was ejected, State Police said. She was killed as a result of the crash.
